Interpersonal Relationships among Employees
- Fostering of team spirit among employees
- Colleagues at the workplace should be united as one family, bonded by loyalty and sincerity. Junior employees should respect and follow their seniors, while seniors should guide their juniors correctly.
- Employees must adhere to basic workplace etiquette and refrain from rude behavior or speaking ill of other employees.
- Prohibition of gifts exchanged among employees
- Employees must never provide personal gifts or money to their superiors. However, gifts from a superior to a subordinate, or minor gifts exchanged between superiors or colleagues for transfers, or social events such as congratulations or condolences, are exceptions recognized by social norms.
- Prohibition of financial transactions among employees
- Mindful that financial transactions between employees can lead to serious losses, such as weakening organizational bond or personal bankruptcy, employees must not engage in financial transactions such as lending, providing collateral, or acting as guarantors.
- Prevention of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
- Employees must recognize that sexual harassment is a violation of individual human rights, undermines the work atmosphere, and leads to consequences such as loss of work motivation and decreased productivity, and therefore must refrain from any actions that may constitute such behavior.
